Directions to Atlas Venture GmbH, Munich, by Road

From the motorway A9 from Nürnberg
· Proceed down the A9 towards Munich and keep going straight on
· At the final junction of the motorway where the road forks, keep left and follow the signs for the "Mittlerer Ring Ost" which will take you around the eastern side of the perimeter ring road
· Proceed for approx. 1 kilometer
· After going under a large underpass, take the exit on the right signed to "Am Tucherpark"
· The road is called "Ifflandstrasse"
· Follow this dual-carriageway (Ifflandstrasse) all the way along, staying in the left hand lane
· Go under a bridge
· You will join the road called Oettinger Strasse
· Go straight across through 2 sets of traffic lights
· At the 3rd set of traffic lights, go straight ahead again, this time crossing Prinzeregentenstrasse
· Stay in the left hand lane
· At the fourth set of traffic lights, take a left into Liebigstrasse
· Our offices can be found at the end of Liebigstrasse, on the corner of Widenmayerstrasse
· On-street parking is available in the roads surrounding the office.

From the Motorway A8, from Stuttgart
· Follow the A8 motorway from Stuttgart to Munich
· Approx. 10km outside Munich take the new A99 ring motorway signed towards Nürnberg/Salzburg
· Follow this ring until you reach the intersection "Kreuz München-Nord"
· At Kruz München-Nord take the A9 signed to Munich
· At the final junction of the motorway where the road forks, keep left and follow the signs for the "Mittlerer Ring Ost" which will take you around the eastern side of the perimeter ring road
· Proceed for approx. 1 kilometer
After going under a large underpass, take the exit on the right signed to "Am Tucherpark"
The road is called "Ifflandstrasse"
· Follow this dual-carriageway (Ifflandstrasse) all the way along, staying in the left hand lane
· Go under a bridge
· You will join the road called Oettinger Strasse
· Go straight across through 2 sets of traffic lights
· At the 3rd set of traffic lights, go straight ahead again, this time crossing Prinzeregentenstrasse
· Stay in the left hand lane
· At the fourth set of traffic lights, take a left into Liebigstrasse
· Our offices can be found at the end of Liebigstrasse, on the corner of Widenmayerstrasse
· On-street parking is available in the roads surrounding the office.

From the motorway A8 from Salzburg
· Follow the A8 motorway from Salzburg and Rosenheim towards Munich
· At the end of the motorway you will come to a large junction, called "Kreuz Ramersdorf", where the road crosses the "Mittlerer Ring"
· At this junction go straight ahead, taking the road called "Rosenhemier Strasse"
· Follow Rosenheimer Strasse all the way along, over several sets of traffic lights, under a railway bridge over another few sets of traffic lights and past the City Hilton hotel
· As you pass the City Hilton Hotel, get into the middle lane and proceed over the traffic lights and across the bridge
· At the next set of lights, turn right into Steinsdorferstrasse, which is parallel to the river Isar
· Follow this road along the river
· At the first large set of traffic lights the road crosses Maximillianstrasse
· Go straight over here into Widenmayerstrasse
· Start looking for a parking space now, either to your right or left hand side
· Atlas Venture can be found on the corner of Widenmayerstrasse and Liebigstrasse, Liebigstrasse being the 3rd turning on the left as you procced down Widenmayerstrasse

Directions to Atlas Venture GmbH, Munich, by Public Transport

From Munich Airport
· After arrival, follow the signs to the express train "S-Bahn" to Munich (Green "S" signs)
· Purchase a ticket from the ticket desk at the entrance to the platforms and cancel your ticket before proceeding to the platform
· If the desk is not manned, purchase a strip of 10 tickets from the machine, called a "Streifenkarte", by pressing the adult fare button marked "S" in blue.  The ticket costs around 10 €.  Cancel 8 strips on this ticket before proceeding to the platform
· There are two express trains to Munich city centre; the S1 and S8. The S8 is preferable to reach our offices in the shortest time, although you can take either train.

S8
· Take the train marked S8 towards Munich-Ost
Alight at the "Ostbahnhof" station (journey time approx 35 minutes) and proceed to the underground line marked U4/U5
· Take either the U4 or the U5 train in the direction of "Odeonsplatz" and the "Hauptbahnhof", and alight after two stops at "Lehel"
· Follow the exit signs marked "Thierschplatz"
When at ground level, turn left and enter Tattenbachstrasse and walk to the end (approx 200m)
· Turn right into Liebigstrasse and cross Sternstrasse at the pedestrian crossing
· Continue along Liebigstrasse for a further 200m
· Our building is the last block on the left hand side of Liebigstrasse, on the corner of Widenmayerstrasse
· Please note that the entrance to our office is in Liebigstrasse
· Atlas Venture is on the 4th Floor

S1
· Take the train marked S1 towards Munich-West
· Alight at "Karlsplatz (Staccus)" station (journey time approx 45 minutes) and proceed to the underground line marked U4/U5
· Take either the U4 or the U5 train in the direction of "Ostbahnhof" and "Arabellapark", and alight after two stops at "Lehel"
· Follow the exit signs marked "Thierschplatz"
· When at ground level, turn left and enter Tattenbachstrasse and walk to the end (approx 200m)
· Turn right into Liebigstrasse and cross Sternstrasse at the pedestrian crossing
· Continue along Liebigstrasse for a further 200m
