f-star is a new biotechnology company with a unique and broadly applicable antibody engineering technology platform.

f-star's modular antibody technology allows introduction of additional binding sites in antibody frames . Specific applications include improvement of both antibodies and antibody fragments. f-star's technology can be incorporated into and can incorporate existing antibody engineering technologies. f-star's novel Fc-based scaffold "Fcab" has antibody-like properties but shows a variety of advantages, for example: small size, tissue penetration, cavity binding (for enzyme inhibition), and independence from antibody patents.
