Novexel was formed in 2004 as the result of a spin-out of the Anti-infectives Unit of Aventis Pharma, a world-leader in the discovery and provision of antimicrobial drugs. The inherited anti-bacterial and anti-fungal R&D portfolio of programmes, compounds and intellectual property as well as the extensive experience and expertise of the Novexel team in research and development form the substantial core around which Novexel is built.
